I wanna give this place 5 stars but not just yet....it needs some major improvements, with food as well as the establishment. Food was good but could be even better with just a bit more improvements. The staff was super friendly and sweet, it was her second day working and she made sure we were well taken care of. I will come back and hope they perk up the place to make it even more esthetic.
Stopped by this place to grab some pastries and a coffee and it turned out to be really good! The white mocha was just right. The pastries were fluffy and delicious. The inside is a little plain but they have a really cute outside seating area. I will definitely come back here to try their food.
Amazing. A little pricey but worth it for a special treat. Will be back. I had the dessert crepes with strawberries, Nutella and whip cream. It was delicious and the size of a giant burrito. Peppermint mocha was great. Canolli for dessert. My husband had the sausage breakfast croissant and loved it. Swinging covered tables were fun for the kids.
Mirabelle cafe is a gem. Very rare to find a place in USA with such a great choice of delicious foods. To appreciate it you need to come here regularly and you'll realize how good it is. It's been around for 20 years for a reason. The owner is kind hearted man, the cook is excellent, and staff is very polite. Just come without having high expectations of service and other "modern generation" nonsense. They are doing their best for visitors to enjoy their meals, and working hard to make the business successful. I wish more people find out about their breakfasts and bring this place more revenue for it to keep serving the community with style. Prices are beyond reasonable. I'd say even cheap for what you get. Convenient cozy location, plenty of room and light. Always great coffee and pastries. Vegetarian options. For big groups I'd recommend to call before so they are prepared for you to come in since they are often short-staffed.
Got the cinnamon French toast and my fiance ordered the croissant breakfast sandwich. Food was cooked really well, even had to grab one of there pantries on the way out! Would highly recommend if your in the area to stop by,the inside is really fancy and an awsome sitting arrangement outside. Parking is easy to get in and out of also. They stop serving breakfast at 2pm.
The food was delicious, the pastry delectable, and the service was great, but the restaurant appears to be in some sort of transition. I say this because the images on their Facebook and Trip Advisor are different from what I experienced. There was a little confusion when we first walked in as to whether we should be seated or make an order at the cash register, but that was quickly resolved. Again, the service was great. I would definitely recommend this eatery for those who have a tooth for French inspired foods.
'21/9 1st time review, but years-long customer: -- Always consistent, quality food/presentation. -- Decent menu choices for this upscale cafe with indoor/outdoor, breakfast-lunch-dinner dining and helpful/attentive wait staff. -- At time of this review, they're in the process of remodeling: while several pastry display cases have been removed being replaced by more indoor seating, we have been assured we can still custom order a lot of our favorite delectables. The two remaining cases displayed 2 types of filled puff pastries, one type cookie, 2 other types, about 5 types of layered cake slicea, and a sampling of whole, custom cakes. -- Stop by to check out the outdoor seating: unique, glide, covered, kid-friendly booths (various sizes seating 2-6 per stand-alone unit). ++ Note 1: requires step up into seating, and some oomph to get it to glide. Child friendly, pleasing. ++ Note 2: While seating is wrought-iron fenced in, it is backed up to busy Winding Way with a do-it-yourself car wash beside. On weekends, this makes for a noisy background. -- Parking: very tight, small lot adjacent to stand alone building. Mobility impaired could find it a challenge to negotiate.
